Download raspbian image from raspberrypi.org

Get it boot up with dhcp

Ssh connection

Fix the settings / upgrade

Installing needed software

apt-get install cmake

apt-get install libusb-1.0

Put the usb stick on the raspberrypi

sudo apt-get install libusb-1.0-0-dev

Put the usb stick on the raspberrypi

System automaticly loads the usb drivers for stick, you'll have to remove them.

You can put the module names to the blacklist.

lsmod lists module names

lsusb lists usb devices

For test purposes you can use rmmod

/etc/modprobe.d/raspi-blacklist.conf (example for my usb dongle)

blacklist dvb-usb_v2
blacklist rtl2832
blacklist rc_core
blacklist rtl2830

now you can test the program with rtl_test -t

If everything works fine, you can dump the data from sensors by running ./rtl_433
